Welcome to the world of the Sixth Age. Here players are pitted against the forces of technology and magic in the form of governments, mega-corporations, feral zones, and fellow Shadow Runners. The year is 2070 and the players are about to step into the shadows for the first time in years and it is a new world out there. No longer are the days of the wired matrix and credsticks around, today the world is covered in a wierless matrix composed of Personal Area Networks (PANs) spread across the world where man and metahuman crowd smog filled cities. Nearly everything can be done from a person’s personal communication link that was once the area of computer decks and datajacks. Deckers are a thing of the past in the sense that they no longer are tied to a physically limiting device such as a cyberdeck and virtually all of the people connected to the wierless matrix are surrounded by Augmented Reality (AR) as they go about their daily lives. With the new found changes to the Shadowrun world since the party’s last attempt to adventure in this setting, will the GM live up to the challenge of creating a vibrant setting for the players to enjoy or will he fail miserably and be ready to change settings after two gamming sessions? Only time will tell…............................
